1. Definitions

• Customer: User posting a task or service request
• Provider: Service professional bidding on tasks
• Platform: TaskoBid mobile app, website, and all related systems
• Task: Any service request posted by a customer
• Bid: A provider's offer to complete a task at a specified price

2. Use of Platform

Customers May:

• Post tasks with detailed descriptions and requirements
• Receive bids from verified service providers
• Choose any provider based on price, rating, profile, or availability
• Rate and review providers after service completion
• Contact customer support for assistance

Providers May:

• Browse available tasks in their service category
• Submit competitive bids on relevant tasks
• Accept job requests from customers
• Provide services independently as self-employed professionals
• Build their reputation through ratings and reviews

4. Payments

• Payments may be online or cash, depending on customer and provider agreement
• Online payments are securely processed through third-party payment gateways
• TaskoBid may charge platform fees, convenience fees, or commissions
• All pricing is transparent and shown before transaction completion
• Providers receive payment according to the agreed schedule after service completion

5. Ratings & Reviews

• Customers may rate and review providers after service completion
• Reviews must be honest and based on actual experiences
• Providers may not manipulate, pressure, or incentivize customers for positive ratings
• TaskoBid reserves the right to remove fraudulent or inappropriate reviews
• Ratings directly impact provider visibility and opportunities

6. Prohibited Activities

Users may not:

• Post false, misleading, or illegal tasks
• Harass, threaten, abuse, or discriminate against other users
• Use the platform to promote competing businesses or services
• Exploit system vulnerabilities or attempt unauthorized access
• Share contact information to bypass the platform
• Create multiple accounts to manipulate the system
• Engage in fraudulent bidding or pricing practices

7. Account Suspension & Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts for:

• Fraudulent activities or payment disputes
• Multiple cancellations without valid reasons
• Abuse, misconduct, or harassment of other users
• Violations of law or platform guidelines
• Providing false information during registration
• Consistently poor service quality or unprofessional behavior

Users may appeal account actions through our support team.

8. Liability Limitation

We offer support and dispute resolution assistance but do not guarantee specific outcomes. Users engage with service providers at their own risk.

9. Intellectual Property

• All TaskoBid branding, logos, and content are our property
• Users retain ownership of content they create (task descriptions, reviews)
• By posting content, users grant TaskoBid license to display and use it
• Unauthorized use of TaskoBid intellectual property is prohibited

10. Data & Privacy

Your use of TaskoBid is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We collect and use data as described in our Privacy Policy to provide and improve our services.

11. Dispute Resolution

• TaskoBid provides in-app support for dispute resolution
• Users should attempt to resolve issues directly first
• If resolution fails, our support team can mediate
• Serious disputes may require legal action outside the platform
• All disputes are governed by the laws of India

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. Continued use of TaskoBid after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Major changes will be communicated through the app or email.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Kolkata, West Bengal.
